Lady Killer

Artist: Cee Lo Green
Album: Lady Killer
Release Date: November 9th, 2010

You probably know him best as one half of the enigmatic pop/funk/soul/hip-hip/rock machine known as Gnarls Barkley. Cee Lo Green is the owner of that high-pitched yet broad range voice who teams with Danger Mouse.

Cee Lo first found fame thanks to his work in the hip-hop group Goodie Mob. The group hit the scene back in the early 90’s and although not as prominent as they once were, is still active. As previously mentioned, these days Cee Lo is best known as half of Gnarls Barkley but with a little luck, he may be able to roll that fame into a lucrative solo career.

Lady Killer is the third solo studio album from Cee Lo and his first in 6 years. The first single from the album (colorfully titled) “F#$@ You” is tearing up radios across the country and the video is all over MTV.

The man has a proven track record of musical success and it’s safe to say that he’s already off to a healthy start on his newly blossoming solo career. Fret not, neither Gnarls Barkley nor Goodie Mob are planning breakups anytime soon.
